Mold inspection was not the career path I originally envisioned. My journey began in 2011, after I became seriously ill and a physician asked an important question: “Do you have mold in your home?” Following previous water damage, mold was discovered in the home, which led me to begin learning more about indoor environmental conditions, moisture, and mold. Several years later, after moving into a newly built home, mold and moisture concerns were identified again. Those experiences changed the direction of my life and motivated me to study mold, building conditions, indoor air quality, and the environmental factors that can affect homes and the people who occupy them. In 2018, I began preparing for the Texas mold licensing process, and in 2019, I became a Texas State Licensed Mold Assessment Consultant. Today, through TX Mold Inspector, I provide professional mold inspections, mold testing services, moisture assessments, and indoor environmental assessments for homeowners, Realtors, property managers, and businesses throughout Houston and surrounding areas. As a licensed mold assessment consultant, I evaluate visible and suspected mold conditions, investigate moisture sources, collect samples when appropriate, and provide clear, science-based findings and practical recommendations. My goal is to help clients better understand the conditions affecting their property, know their options, and move forward with confidence. My own experiences shaped the work I do today and continue to drive my commitment to thorough inspections, clear communication, and practical environmental solutions.
